Stefania Jezierska holds a Master of Fine Arts from the Academy of Art in Poznan (Poland) and is participating in an art atelier at the Art Academy in Brussels.
Her artistic activities include painting, architectural design, exhibition design, fashion design and ethnographic research. The Polish Ministry of Culture awarded Stefania Jezierska with the Golden Cross of Merit. She has exhibited in Belgium, Austria, Germany, Poland and the United States.
She is known for her strong pictorial compositions and virtuosity of her oil technique. Fascinated by the beauty of the landscape she works from nature (“in plain air”) to reflect the magic of light and colour, perpetuating the impressionist tradition. Some of her paintings have a touch of surrealism, and some, like the still lives or flowers are more realistic. Excellent colourist, in each artwork the artist shares with us her intense joy of life and the beauty of the nature.
